𝓖ently𝓛ittle 𝓛ebird-𝓥𝓛𝓚 (𝓥incent.𝓚im)💙💜

I met Vincent shortly after Christmas 2020. I had no idea he is a famous film star. I thought he was an arts graduate with casual acting roles! His charm, intelligence, sense of humour and good looks captivated me. As the offspring of two Engineering Academics, I was thrilled to interact with someone from the Art world for the first time. Vincent's kindness, humility, and exceptional personality left a lasting impression on me.

𝓥incent 𝓛ecœur 

Vincent is a brilliant and accomplished French Artist who appears on screen and stage in numerous films and TV series.  His most iconic performance was as Wilfried in the stylish thriller “Deep in the Woods" (released in France in June 2000 and awarded "Best European Fantasy Film" at the 2000 Sitges Film Festival).  

In addition to acting, Vincent has also written, produced, and directed short films and music videos. Vincent has a Diploma in Performing Arts from the prestigious Université Paris 8. He is the proud founder of CALENDHAiiKU and co-founder of Radio Capitaine.     

Writing is one of Vincent’s many passions; he won an award for his short story “Chaos” at the age of sixteen. "Le Journal Journalistique", his first book published in June 2024, was sold out in just one week. All proceeds from the book went to his non-profit Calendhaiiku poetry network. Based loosely on real-life events, "Le Journal Journalistique" is about Vincent’s adventures in the Bauges and the discovery of his true love. This beautifully written book is a blend of romance and satire with rich metaphors, powerful imagery, and thought-provoking content. 

𝓥incent is also a trained mountain rescuer and a fluent speaker of English.

He is kind, gentlemanly and holds traditional values. 𝓥incent is the inspiration behind the characters Gently and Little Lebird.

Our first Cyber-Date

Vincent asked me to draw him, but unfortunately, my artistic skills in drawing men are lacking. However, I did manage to capture his essence by portraying him as a bird with a red neckerchief and blue fleece based on Vincent’s stylish skiing outfit. Vincent affectionately named this avian creation "Gently”. He then suggested that Gently needed a friend, so he invented a female companion for him, named "Little."

𝓖ently 𝓛ebird is a majestic avian from the picturesque French Alps. He is a devoted follower of Vincent. Little is a friendly bird from the English Midlands. While Gently is an avid skier, Little prefers leisurely walks.

One day, during one of Little's strolls in the local park, she met a delightful swan family who chatted with her until dusk. Unfortunately, Little could not find her way home and ended up stumbling upon a place called Cyberland. Unbeknownst to her, she was soon swarmed by a bunch of trolls of all shapes, sizes, and colours. Fortunately, Gently came to her rescue and together they fought off the trolls, telling them to mind their own business. However, just like viruses, the trolls do reappear in different variants!

Gently & Little have become inseparable Lebirds and they live happily ever after in ForeverLand!

 Birthday presents

Instead of knitting or cookie-making, which I am quite hopeless at, I created this website as a birthday surprise for Vincent. I hope Vincent likes his present, which I spent many sleepless nights making especially for him.

On my birthday when we first met, Vincent gave me a collection of photographs of the French Alps. It took several days to climb the mountain top to capture those pictures. This year, for my birthday, Vincent spent months creating several beautiful pictures based on scenery in the French Rhône-Alps.

When Vincent popped the Birdy question, I said "yes" without further thought. Just like Gently and Little, our new life will be simple, and hopefully, we will live happily ever after in our quiet little corner(s)!

Vincent’s first book, “Le Journal Journalistique” was published to celebrate this occasion.
